Insurance Coverage

Kallas & Henk PC insurance coverage group provides comprehensive legal services to its insurance company clients. These services include coverage analysis and opinions and representation in litigation. The litigation services include defense of insurers in coverage disputes through trial and the appellate courts and initiation of actions for declaratory relief addressing legal obligations under insurance contracts.

The insurance coverage group also advises on policy forms and endorsements, drafting of specialty coverages and endorsements and underwriting procedures. The firm is also retained to represent its insurance clients in regulatory matters with the Office of Financial and Insurance Services in the State of Michigan.

As a service to its insurance industry clients, the firm publishes Michigan Coverage Decisions, which includes a summary and analysis of every case released by the appellate courts in Michigan which addresses property and casualty coverage or issues which may affect the interpretation or application of insurance policies.
